BY LEXI LOPEZ
The Reverend Dr. Charles Kimball delivers the Fifth Annual C.S. Lewis Legacy Lecture in the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury at Westminster College on Feb. 2.
Kimball, presidential professor, department chair and director of Religious Studies at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma, is the author of “When Religion Becomes Evil: Five Warning Signs.” In his lecture, he addressed the relationship between religion and violence throughout history and called on the audience to make “more explicit” the existing religious integration of the U.S. “Any community of 100 thousand people is already a microcosm of the whole world,” he said.
