Hypnotist Chris Jones to Perform on Campus
BY MATT MCCORMACK
Students can see hypnosis and humor in action as Chris Jones performs on stage Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. in Champ Auditorium.
Jones, who became interested in hypnosis during his graduate studies, has hosted shows at high schools and colleges across the country and has appeared on “America’s Got Talent.”
According to his website, Jones gives the audience an “incredibly interactive” show and “a performance unlike any other.”
Ally Wingert, ’17, the special events chair of Campus Activities Board, said students should attend the hypnosis show because it’s a good study break.
“Campus Activities Board is meant to provide fun activities for students, and this is a perfect opportunity for students to take advantage of that,” Wingert said.
Chris Jones was booked for a performance at Westminster at the beginning of November 2014 when Campus Activities Board traveled to the National Association for Campus Activities event. After seeing Jones in action at NACA, Westminster’s CAB decided to showcase his abilities on campus.
