Many members of the Westminster College track and field team are breaking school records this season. Some are even breaking their own records.

The field record holders now include junior Bret Robertson with a javelin throw of 54.44 meters; senior Michael Lutz with the record for hammer throw at 41.21 meters; and freshman Logan Shoemaker, who threw 14.81 meters on shot put.

On the track, senior Daniel Lindaman has broken the record for the 10,000 meter run with the time of 32:57.11.

For the women, freshman Anna Houston is breaking multiple records. She has broken the high jump record, with a jump of 1.58 meters. She also holds the record for triple jump with a 10.77-meter jump, and the record for pole vault with a 2.61-meter jump. If that wasn’t enough, on the track Houston owns the record for 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.37.

Both track & field teams have one more meet before the SLIAC Conference meet.
