Student Government Association Meeting: April 16

Austin Morris provides announcements from Thursday’s meeting.

Presidential Search: The latest information, courtesy of SGA President, Molly Dwyer, is that all three finalists have been interviewed. Within the next few weeks, the Presidential Search Committee will select the best candidate. The committee hopes to reveal the identity of out next president by the end of the spring 2015 semester. Look for that announcement soon!

Fresh Ideas: Now under new management, Fresh Ideas has reconsidered its breakfast meal time offerings. This school year, breakfast meal exchange was only available in JCI during 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., a time inconvenient for the majority of students. Starting final exam week, breakfast meal exchange will now be available from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This new time range will be in effect through the 2015-2016 school year.

One Shot Requests: A few weeks ago, SGA began accepting applications for one shot projects. These are events, programs, services or renovations for the Westminster campus. If you have an idea and would like $10,000 to make it happen, be sure to fill out an application before April 23. The application, as well as more information, can be found in the email sent by SGA on April 21.

SGA Constitution Amendments: Are you considering running for a SGA position next fall? Then you may be interested in SGA’s updated constitution. The latest version is now available on SGA’s Moodle page.
