Westminster senior Ali Veatch was awarded a Robert J. Greef award from the Missouri Association of Teachers in English. Currently student teaching at Battle High School in Columbia, Ali has received this prestigious award for by already proving to be a successful educator and passionate learner. When asked about her achievement, Ali said, “It was truly an honor to receive this award, because both English and Education have always been so important to me and I cannot wait to share my knowledge with my future students. I am very grateful to Dr. Bumgarner for the nomination and continuous support throughout my current student teaching experience.” After graduation, Ali aspires to earn her masters degree through the Mizzou Fellows Program.
