International Freshman Students Experience Snow for the First Time

In the spring semester some international freshman students experience their first snow. At the end of February Westminster campus got its share of snow. Although the day alternated between cold and warm, six international freshman students embraced their first encounter with the snow. They adapted to this winter and enjoyed playing with the snow.

Freshman Class Attempts to Make an Impact on Event Turnout

Due to the low attendance of previous class events, the freshman class is attempting to increase event turnout by making their upcoming educational event more entertaining. They will sponsor a showing of The Breakfast Club on March 31 in CSC Lecture Hall to enhance awareness of social stigmas, according to Senator Gabby Osborn.

Newly opened Nini’s Café is located on 5th Street directly across the street from The Post Office Bar and Grill. They sell soup, sandwiches, and meat by the pound. They also sell their famous hangover smoothies.

The medieval Winchester Cathedral, tomb of Jane Austen and King Alfred the Great, stands less than a mile away from the University of Winchester campus. It is a major tourist attraction and is well within walking distance for students of the University of Winchester.
